Here’s the TLDR; With just over 70k miles, this little gem still has over 150k miles of dedicated, worry-free driving to offer. End of the day, it’s an f’ing Honda; you couldn’t break it if you tried.Here’s what’s not perfect about this car: there are a few dings and scratches. That’s it. But look at it this way; if it were in perfect condition, you’d be afraid of getting a mark on it. Having put the first few blemishes on it I’ve saved you the anxiety! You’re welcome.It comes with a full set of summer tires AND winter tires (Blizzaks; these things laugh in the face of anything a Keweenaw winter throws at them! Canadians use them as a dowry for their first-born daughters; look it up.) both mounted on rims. Think of the time and money that will save you twice a year! Pull into the tire place after the first snow in October and see if they’ll mount and balance 4 tires while you wait... fat chance! Now roll in with your rubber already on the rims; they’ll throw that bad boy up on the lift and you’re out of there before you can finish your soy and almond triple-shot macchiato-latte-chino! And if you’re interested, I also have a set of Yakima bars for the roof — if I can find them we can make that part of the deal for the right buyer.Even better, there’s an OEM remote start so you’ll never have to get into a cold car in the winter. No one likes that. Plus, on that one Wednesday in August when it’s really hot, you can cool it down before you get in!!! No more burnt underside!The steering, braking, suspension, etc... are all just as tight and spritely as the day it rolled off the assembly line. It has one of those fancy backup cameras so you can see what’s behind you, and the Bluetooth stereo lets you pair your phone so you decide what you listen to, not some two-bit hack that calls himself a “DJ.” What is this, 1985?The muffler was starting to go, but don’t you fret: the deep snow in Calumet grabbed that pathetic appendage one night in March and ripped it clean off, so you get a brand new one! It’s all installed and purrs like a kitten drinking a big ol’ bowl of ice cream on a hot July day. The brakes are fairly new, and all the manufacturer’s recommended servicing has been taken care of.Plus, to top it all off, it’s safe AND fun to drive! You know those tiny little dogs you see in the YouTube videos that chase off the mountain lions and grizzly bears? They don’t know they’re not big enough to take those wild animals on, but they’re badass enough to try, and they convince the bears and cougars of that. That’s kind of what it’s like to drive this civic. It doesn’t know it only has a 1.8 L 4-cylinder churning out 140 HP, but it’s badass enough to whip you around the Yooper Loop fast enough to make your great aunt Margaret hurl. At the end of the day, that’s all that really matters, right?
